After breakfast they hiked east across the Shira Plateau past the Shira Cathedral towards Moir camp, tucked away at the end of a huge gorge, at the foot of a giant lava flow.
Pam got a call from her brother this morning (their evening). He and Michelle asked her to locate a walk-in shower with an attached "Americanized" hotel room in Arusha to use when they got back down. He told her the climb was darn hard, and the ocean cruise alternative was sounding more and more attractive. Kevin and Brian have headaches (those men!!). Allison is taking turns carrying stuff for the porters (sounds like the poll predictions were accurate). -McQ
