Arusha (known as "A-Town" among the locals) is the halfway point if you happen to be travelling between Cape Town and Cairo.

Any of you video gamers who have played Halo 3 might remember seeing a highway sign with the city of "Arusha" crossed out on it. It is thought that in the year 2053 the city will be destroyed by large dinosaurs from the gamma sector planet of Niptuvia.
They are staying at The Arusha Hotel, which is where John Wayne and Elsa Martinelli hung out there while they were shooting the movie Hatari in 1962.
